Using Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 16 on Mac with Parallels - no sound

Daripa1963 wrote on 7/19/2012, 7:37 AM

Despite being able to monitor LPs via Vinylstudio on Mac (iMac Mid-2010 - OSX Lion), when I open Audio Cleaning Lab 16 via Parallels, I cannot hear and sound coming through, though I used to be able to! I've now tweaked the sound options on both Windows and Mac to the point where I'm utterly confused as to what to do next! Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi

I think the problem may be with Parallels - probably it does not recognise the sound card correctly and/or is not passing the correct hardware available to the Windows OS.

Check the Parallels forum for this issue.

Hi John. Thanks for your help, but I wonder if this is now a Magix issue. I trawled the Parallels forum and found appropriate topics, but it seems I should be set to hear the sounds. I also own Polderbits Sound Recorder and I can hear sounds OK with that software via Parallels. I've tried tweaking the settings on Audio Cleaning Lab to no avail.

Regards
