Use normal Keyboard instead of virtual one? How do I do that?

Hi community,

I am using the program since a short while and tried to record some of my songs with it.

However, the virtual on screen keyboard is no good really as playing different instruments in time over the

pc keyboard is obviously time lacking and not suitable to record flawless music.

I am having especially the issue that the virtual keyboard can only be played if the top of it is clicked and having to

reactivate it after working on the channels, is really frustrating and time consuming.

So is there a way to connect my real Yamaha Keyboard to the pc and then use it in the Music Maker instead of

the virtual one? So that I can choose my on screen instruments as usual, but instead of having to use my pc keyboard,

I can play the online instruments via my Yamaha?

Kind regards

You can do this as along as your Yamaha keyboard has midi output whether it's standard midi outputs or over usb. Depends on the keyboard. If it only has standard midi outputs you would need a midi interface for the PC.
