Use Acquired Presets

Ricky-Alvarez wrote on 12/21/2019, 11:59 PM

I bought the premium edition and "acquired" the Revolta and the two Vita extension presets and I cannot find a way to used them, please help!

Edit: I went over to my downloads and all that came up to download were all of my free loops and fx, but presets did not show up. I've looked just about everywhere and still can't use my presets!

Not all the items ( instruments, sound pools, fx etc etc) automatically install after you purchase and download them.

Check the headers along the top right hand side of the programme ( above where your instruments appear ) … any downloads not yet activated/installed will appear there.

Simply click install ( or install all ) and the presets will be sent to the relevant instrument and should appear in the presets menu of the instrument.

I have already installed everything and my presets are nowhere to be found.

If the presets aren't showing for the instrument then they can't have been installed.

@Ricky-Alvarez

Hi

. . . . Revolta and the two Vita extension presets . . . .

Do you mean these presets?

Revolta:

I have 334 presets for Revolta, these are also available via the drop down menu centre top of the Revolta inteface.

Vita - not all are available as shown above, they are available via the drop down menu centre top of the Vita interface - I have 334 of these in 3 banks as seen in the above image.

If not what were the presets you downloaded described as?

@Ricky-Alvarez

Hi

I would suggest you view this tutorial by @browj2 on getting started with Music Maker, although it refers to an earlier version the principles are still the same.

The section on using Instruments at 5:07 in the video.

How do I use these? They are downloaded and say acquired, but I can't find a way to use them.

Did you look at the suggested tutorial. It's simple really. Load the instrument such as Vita or Revolta and choose the preset.

Ricky-Alvarez wrote on 2/16/2020, 1:59 AM

If it was that simple, I would not go through so much trouble. I'm not stupid, in my vita library it only shows a single drum kit, nothing else. My revolta has the same sounds as the ones I had before I upgraded to Premium.

Hi

The Vita Premium and Plus presets do not always show up as 'Vita instruments' for example the Soundtrack Percussion and Soundtrack Percussion 2 presets have their own entry in the Instruments lists as shown below - the example list was opened clicking the + sign in a track header.

@Ricky-Alvarez

Hi

Read the description of the Revolta presets in the Store and see the image here and your post directly below.
