The key board in plugged through USB, power is on, but no sound come out of it, nor does it have any action with the program.

Can you please tell us which keyboard (make & model) you are using?
When the keyboard is connected to the USB port, is the keyboard recognized in Windows (Device Manager)? Did the keyboard come with a driver? Has the driver been installed?
No sound will "come out of it" through the USB connection. That is strictly a MIDI connection and will only play VSTi instruments on the computer.
