HP Pavilion Desktop, Windows 8.1:

Xara web Designer Premium:

First uploaded my site "leylinesexplained.com" via Xara's "Sign in to Web Hosting" which went seamlessly.

Tried uploading more web pages to my other domain "leylinesexplained.net" which seemed to publish, but not shown on Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or any other.

Tried Filezila using directory " public_html" without success: I get error "mkdir/public_html permission denied"

Can anyone tell me what is wrong, please, much obliged

Hi

. . . . Tried Filezila using directory " public_html" without success: I get error "mkdir/public_html permission denied" . . . .

The error message would suggest that you have given FileZilla the wrong location to open and it is trying to create the public_html folder.

If you have added the public_html folder to the server address or in the Advanced options of the Connect dialog remove it. The username, password and host server address should automatically take you into the public_html folder.

For Xara-Online the options should be as shown below:

Hi David,

I just checked both and they work, including:

leylinesexplained.net

Are you still having problems seeing this last one?

I can see both too. Leylinesexplained.net though has just one page published; this may be intentional, but it looks like there should three links from the design? Should that be true, these links need to be added to the index page, but at least one link (this could be an additional one) must take you back to the index page; if there are additional pages, then each page requires a link back to the home page.

Should you need to find the location this site is published to, then you can expand/ unfold your folders using FileZilla to find the published folder and anything else too.

Thanks everyone - both domains suddenly appeared! Work in progress, so I am busy linking sites and getting pages mobile friendly.
