upgraded to win 7 professional, installed 32G RAM, SSD drive. After years used a windows update, (when things run well, I believe there is no reason to update)
Magix 6X will not open, I now get "failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect"
I thought reloading the program would help
I tried to uninstall the program via start/MagixX6.../unstall, and nothing happens.
Used control panel to uninstall program, and still see the programs listed there. I find them all over the program folders & user directories. I renamed them all with Magi..BAK.
Tried to install the program again, and always get an error that software is already installed.
Used Norton and did a registry cleaner too.
I have been communicating with the support staff, and they are very responsive, but I think they went to bed. ( I'm from midwest US)
Anyone have any ideas?
Dell i7, 64-bit, 3.4Ghz
I'll let you know the outcome.
