Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Exactly which edition of MM 2021 did you have, Basic (Free), Plus or Premium? If it was either Plus or Premium the upgrade to MM 2022 would have given you the Basic (Free) version since both the Plus and Premium upgrades need to be paid for.

If you previously had either the Plus or Premium editions you can log in in the app using the serial key for that 2021 edition and download anything and everything listed in the Downloads tab. That will give you everything you previously had plus one or two new features that the 2022 Free edition offers.

If you wish to have either the full Plus or full Premium editions of MM 2022 you will need to buy the upgrade.

Unfortunately, I am still a little unclear about your previous version of MM. Was it MM 2021 Premium? When you paid for the upgrade to MM Premium 2022 did you receive a new serial key (you certainly should have done)? Did you enter that new key in the login screen which is displayed as the program is starting up? If you did this, did you then download ALL the "new" content that would be available to you? What, exactly, do you see on that initial screen (top right had corner)? It should show that you have and are running MM 2022 Premium.

One further question (with apologies for my not understanding this): what is an NTB?

I have the full version of MM 2021 Premium installed on NTB (NTB-notebook). I later found out on Magix that it was possible to install the free version. I installed the free version on my computer (PC). When launched, Magix offered me an upgrade from the free version to the full version of MM 2022 Premium for a good price. I did it directly in the MM free application. The application has been upgraded and is working normally. The upper right corner shows that I am logged in (email address). I can work with an unlimited number of songs, which is not possible with the free version. I just have an error in my Magix account. I don't have an upgrade to the MM 2022 version with a serial number. I didn't even get a serial number. MM 2021 also shows me the serial number on my Magix account (Magix account). Upgrade 2022, but I don't have it there!

There is only 1 version of Music Maker, the program, and it's free. Anyone install Music Maker and/or upgrade to Music Maker 2022 - it's free - no serial number is required. There is no "full version of MM 2022 Premium." 2022 Premium Edition is an Edition, which just gives you access to certain features and presets that get unlocked in Music Maker, and some credits for instruments and Soundpools, when you activate using the serial number. An Edition is not the program. You have to have the program for an Edition to work or to be able to activate an Edition.

When you log in to Music Maker, it recognizes that you had 2021 Premium and it unlocks everything that you had but some stuff still needed to be downloaded and installed after logging in. If you then purchased 2022 Premium Edition, as soon as you activated it in Music Maker (2022 - version 30.x.x.x) you would again need to download and install some stuff available under the Downloads tab. And, you would get some credits for instruments and Soundpools.

See the Music Maker comparison page on Magix.com to see what you get with each type of Edition and what is new. Anything that is not new, you already had with 2021 Premium Edition.

Hi,

Again, there is no MM2022 Premium application - it's an Edition that just unlocks stuff in Music Maker which is the application and it's free. Once unlocked (activated), you can only download and install whatever shows up under the Downloads tab inside of Music Maker. You cannot do this by downloading something from your account.

Under my account, I see 2 things - Music Maker 30 - with nothing else there, and MM 2022 Premium Edition and there is a Download saying Installation Program. That only downloads and installs Music Maker 2022 - the program - which can be downloaded and installed by getting it from the Magix.com site. Again, this download is not 2022 Premium Edition because there is no download for Premium - it is not an application. Also, this installation file for Music Maker should now be on your computer under your documents, Magix/Downloads. Just keep it if you want.

Do you see something similar in your account?

I believe that Magix will have emailed you a serial number for your Music Maker 2022 Premium Edition. Only once this is input into the program will it be registered and appear in the list of products on your account. Check your email and perhaps your spam folder. If you haven't received a serial number you should contact Magix shop@magix.net

Is think you are not seeing a download for Music Maker 2022 because the program is using the Music Maker 2021 serial number for activation, you still have the extra content the previous Premium edition provides.

To add to @Graham-Hawker comment - you would only get a new serial number if you purchased the Premium upgrade for the MMM 2022 edition, from your account images it looks like you did not purchase the newer edition.
