Everytime I try to install the new update it tells me acid pro can’t be running in the back ground and it won’t install. But if the daw is not open how can I download it. I tried to use the option to download when you exit Acid but nothing happens either. Has anyone else had this problem? It’s very frustrating.

Are you 100% certain there aren't two copies of Acid running. Meaning when you already have Acid open and are about to update, is there another Acid instance may have opened in the background? You can tell by looking at the taskbar if the Acid App icon is doubled up.

If thats not the case, once you are about to start update, right before it, go into taskbar and see what else is running in the background relating to Acid Pro or Magix. If so, end the process and see if you can then update.
