You can uninstall the program in the Windows Add or remove programs.

Uninstall Magix Cloud - also known as Magix Network Sync, Magix Connect and Update Notifier - if you do not use it.

If you cannot find it, the update notifier is in “Program files> Common files> Magix”.

See this recent thread for more info on the 'Update Notifier'.

Thank you for the information - problem solved! (doh! I actually wasn';t looking for a separate program for checking for updates - most of my other software seems to have that functionality built in, usually under the help menu!)
