I have bought a new computer recently and try to relocate some of the MAGIX programs to the Windows 8.1 Pro system.  Unfortunfately, it said that I have reached the limitation and need to contact MAGIX to unlock them.  Those involved programs are: Music Maker 16 Premium; Music Maker MX Premium; Music Maker 2013 Premium; Music Studio; MP3 deluxe MX; and Music Maker Soundtrack Edition.  Please, tell me the proper procedure to solve the problem.

Hi,

This is a user forum so no one here works for Magix.  You need to contact Magix support.

First, if you haven't already, you must uninstall all of the programs on your old computer while connected to the internet so MAGIX can confirm you have done so.

It's unlikely they would give you new registration codes will the old ones are still in force, because that would allow you to have the same programs on two different computers.

you are aware that yu basically have 90% redundantcy with those programs and you aare tying up a lot of harddrive space needlessly.  How do you keep track of what you have done and where ?  Are athe vaarious programs sharing the same soundpool ?  Ever encounter any problems other than this one ?

Thanks for the valuable information. I did contacted MAGIX, and they unlocked all the concerned programs.  And now I can install the programs to my new computer.  Thanks again.
