When In edit and I click undo it takes a long time the longer the video the longer it takes. When I want to undo a mistake, cutting a clip or anthing it takes upto 90 seconds (on a long video 60 minutes) to make the undo I have to wait for the blue and white flashing circle to stop and I am not able to do anyother task wilst this is happning.

Hi there,

what sort of film material are you working with? If HD, and you have a variety of other tasks running in the background, you may well be straining your system far more than you think.

It's always good to get the tasks open/ programs running whittled down to a bare minimum, it's always surprising what is actually active. See if that speeds things up some.

Cheers,

Nothing against Win 7, but you might want to use a Win 7 compatible version of MEP? 14 may run in compatibility mode, Win XP SP2 for instance, and you would need to get the burn routines, but it is an older generation program now.

Handling AVCHD, you really want the current generation of software for dealing with this material. The best choice is MEP 16 Plus because it offers a powerful range of options for this type of file. And, it is Win 7 compatible, and therefore supported.
