@Geoff-Pyke You only need to login with your customer account.

You can upload screenshots to this forum via the arrow icon above the response text box. Maybe we can see a different problem if you upload some images.

This is what happens when I try and activate my product.
I used to have an old email address of 'Removed by Moderator' but this was changed two years ago, and the product was purchased under 'Removed by Moderator'

@Geoff-Pyke

Hi

I have removed the image showing the software serial number and the 2 email addresses.

Please do not post serial numbers or personal contact details in the the forum - this is a public forum not Magix Support.

Contact Magix by email to infoservice@magix.net, quoting the serial number, the email address(es) you think the software was registered to and the email address you would like to use.

Magix support is an oxymoron. There is NO support!

@Mark-Aaron

Magix support is an oxymoron. There is NO support!

False. There is a big button at the top of this forum that says SUPPORT. Click on it. Select a topic, your program, scroll to the bottom of the page, CONTACT SUPPORT, SEND EMAIL. Do this and you get a reply with a ticket number and some suggestions. If none apply, follow the instructions to say no. Magix will get back to you.

If you don't raise a ticket with support, you won't get any support.

If your problem is with a third party plugin that you didn't even purchase from Magix and you can't find your serial number etc., like in your case with Melodyne, don't expect support from Magix.

MYOB. THEY TAKE A WEEK TO RESPOND. MELODYNE IS A MAGIX ADD ON...DUH

emmrecs wrote on 1/28/2024, 4:42 PM

@Mark-Aaron

Correction of factually inaccurate statement: Melodyne is a Celemony product. Some version of it has been offered as an add-on to specific Magix software.

However, as @browj2 writes, support for it is given by Celemony.

The fact that you cannot remember your previous registration details isn't Magix fault.

Please do not continue to post inaccurate information or rants about Magix or your access to the forums is liable to be withdrawn.

Hi

What was the solution - this may be useful to other users who encounter the same issue?

Support thought it was due to an old copy of Music Maker on my system, so I carefully removed all traces of MAGIX. Then I installed from a new link they sent me and all worked OK.
