unable to import DV video

When recording in Magix Movie Edit Pro MX on Windows XP, how do I activate a partition for a different mode other than Fat32 in system settings? It won't let me record my video from a dv camcorder because it says it is operating Fat32

Fat32 has a limit of 4 GB, or less than 20 min of DV-file. The partition must be converted to NTFS.

Go to Help in Windows and search for Convert. If you are unsure, I would recommend that you get help.
