Hi,
I downloaded all the downloadable files for the downloaded Premium version of Music Maker 16. I then double clicked on each of the downloaded files, and from all appearances it appeared that they installed correctly.
I then booted up the Music Maker 16 program and clicked on the “Add styles” button. I then selected each of the different styles, one at a time, and Clicked the OK button. A window opened up that showed the progress and all of them again appeard to be installed.
After installing all of the sound files, I shut down the program and booted it back up again.
Then I clicked on the add styles button again and went to the “Basics” folder and confirmed with “OK” as suggested in the instructions. Then I restarted the program again and attempted to get each of the styles to work.
The Styles “60’s Soul Vol. 1”, “Ambient Vol. 8”, “Hardstyle Vol. 1” “Minimal Electro Vol. 8”, “MovieScore Vol. 7” all worked perfectly.
The Styles “Chillout Vol. 4”, “HipHop Vol. 11”, “House Vol. 10”, “RockAlternative Vol. 2”, and “TechnoTrance Vol. 12”, do not work.
When I attempt to use Style “Chillout”, for example, a window opens up and in the window it says “The file ‘C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX_Music_Maker_16\Basics_16\Chillout Vol.4\Pad\FloatPad 1.OGG’ has been deleted or moved and cannot be used.” When I try each of the others the same window opens up, the same window opens up and the message is the same except for the name of the style in the message.
Interestingly, each of these styles shows up twice in the Styles box. One on top of the other, and it doesn’t matter which one I click, it doesn’t work.
When I am installing the sound packages, just after downloading them, I can watch the progress and see the styles that are not working, being mentioned, so it appears that the files for them are being installed.
I’m assuming that I am missing a step here somewhere, but can’t figure it out. I’ve uninstalled the program, and reinstalled everything a second time to see if that will help, but didn’t seem to do so.
I also can’t locate the Grand Piano, Soundtrack Percussions 2, and the Electric Guitar which are supposed to be part of the premium version.
