Twice I have been sold a non working product

jacc-Thorpe wrote on 3/30/2025, 9:07 PM

I have purchased and returned this product (Magix Sound forge audio studio17 softwaare) on 2 separate occasions. Because when i've tried to redeem the voucher code on both purchases.I've been told that the voucher code is invalid. It is the one and only voucher code that I have and received with the product. Anytime I try to register the product, it doesn't give me a confirmation email nor a serial number and it keeps asking for a serial number that is not providing.
I have purchased this product once and it didn't work.I returned it and purchased it again and still having the same issue.

There's no kind of technical support. And any links that are provided or only forums for Q and A.

SO I WILL BE RETURNING YOUR PRODUCT FOR THE THIRD TIME AND I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Hi

. . . . I've been told that the voucher code is invalid . . . .

Voucher codes are valid for 1 redemption only, just like any other purchase voucher.

Once redeemed you get the serial number which is what you need to activate the software. If you have to re-install the product the serial number can be re-used for that product version.

Do note you get 2 activation slots per serial number, ie you can install and use the software on 2 computers. If re-installing, eg on a new computer, you may get a message pop up when you need to do this. Deactivate a slot using your account at magix.com.

. . . . There's no kind of technical support. And any links that are provided or only forums for Q and A . . . .

Incorrect, after selecting the product on the first Support page

on the second page you will see various FAQ's at the bottom of which are Forum and Contact Support options.

Problems redeeming voucher codes is usually the fault of the seller, which unfortunately is common and I usually recommend purchasing directly for Magix.

Redeem voucher from third-party sellers like Best Buy, Musician's Friend, Guitar Center, Amazon, ect,
Step 1: Go to  https://www.magix.com/redeem/
- Created a MAGIX account if do not have one already. If you already have an account at MAGIX, go to step 3

Step 2: Create a your Magix Account
- You just need to fill in your personal details, email address and preferred password.

Step 3: Redeem your voucher
Provide the voucher code you received from the seller, if possible, copy and paste the voucher code from the seller to avoid typing errors.

Step 4: Successfully Redeemed Voucher Code!
You should receive an email from MAGIX. btw. check your spam and/or junk mail folders if you do not see it.

btw, here is a link to my instructions to request a Magix support ticket after the procedure was revised a few years ago.

Alternately, you could try to email to Magix Customer Service: infoservice@magix.net
