Tutorial on basics of adding a title

terrypin wrote on 10/6/2012, 3:58 AM

This arises from the thread
http://www.magix.info/uk/why-are-there-two-different-versions-of-a-title.knowledge.858226.html
But I'm posting it here as it may be useful to other beginners and also because that thread carries a subject heading on a much more specific issue.

Hi Terry

It would be a good idea to put this together with some explanatory text together in one document IIRC you have Word and save it as a pdf and upload tothe Tutorials section

Hi John,

OK, extra work (especially for someone who uses Word about once a year!) but duly done. However, I think anyone seriously looking for a tutorial on adding titles in MEP would have found this thread with a quick search.

Hi Terry

Bit of an assumption there that a user will use the search

Seriously - I was under the impression you were a regular user of Word - do not know where I got that from!!

Anyway thankyou for doing it  - look forward to seeing it as soon as it is approved.

Have you noticed Oliver and Andreas at Magix have posted some 1 minute tutorials in English - also nice to put a face to the names of Magix staff.

Hi John,

Haven't really given the Tutorial section the time it deserves, so I'll take a look at those you mention.

I'll create and upload a few more of my old ones too.

Edit: Presumably they are the 'Magix Editors'? Where should I see 'Oliver' and 'Andreas'?

Edit 2: OK, duh ... in the videos!

But some of the videos are set to a YT resolution of only 480, which makes it impossible to see detailed text.
