Trying to open a mono track mp3 file crashes soundforge pro 14

Hi All,

This used to work absolutely fine about 3 months back. And now it doesn't. Not sure what has changed in between.

I can open soundforge 14 pro fine. But as soon as I open an mp3 file, it crashes. I've sent numerous crash reports to magix, but no luck. I've restarted my machine multiple times, with no luck. I can open the same mp3 file in audacity with no problems at all. I can open that mp3 file in all audio programs, media player, winamp etc. with no issues. Not sure why soundforge is not liking it.

Any suggestion what can I do or try to fix this?

Hello, welcome

Did you try to see if you can click: File > Reset all preferences and cached data?

Or uninstall software using free Revo uninstaller which removes all remnants in the registry as well and then re-install software?
