Welcome to the Magix user to user forums?
Is your product MEP 14 or MEP 2014? Both are now old products but they are not the same.

However it is quite possible that neither will install or run properly under Win 10 or 11. So, more details please.

There is no such program as "magix pro 14." You were asked a question by Jeff. Please reply correctly.

Hi

. . . . magix pro 14 . . . . putting it back on a window vista computer . . . .

I would assume this is Movie Edit Pro 14 from 2008, given you are trying to put it back on to a Windows Vista PC.

If so then unfortunately the program is obsolete and you will be most likely unable to activate it as the activation process has changed and Windows Vista does not support the Internet protocols or default browser requirements to connect to the activation servers.

Your options are limited to upgrading both PC and program - note the PC should meet the minimum specifications required for the program.

Upgrading to the current version of Movie Edit Pro, now called Magix Movie Studio, is not possible - the current version will not run on Windows Vista, nor the PC if this is the original that came with Windows Vista, the hardware requirements are much higher then the old MEP 14.
