Trouble burning Blu-ray disk that will play on Blu-ray player. Below is the error message.

Hi

This problem could be caused by faulty discs, cheap discs, BD burner firmware not correctly recognising the disc type.

Try burning an image (ISO) file first - select Image recorder in the Burn dialog and see if this completes.  You can then use burning software such as Nero, Roxio etc which will burn the ISO to disc.

If the movie is not too long eg 30 - 40 mins max then try burning the BD to standard DVD in MEP and see if this fails.  They will play in a BD player.
