Transfering audio file

I recently purchased Magix Studio 2015 to match up with my friends program. I want to be able to save our Virtual Project on a flash drive and then bring it home and load it onto my new program but I haven't been able to as of yet. When I try to load it, it says it can load the files. It then shows all the tracks and the proper outlines where the music should be but no actual music. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

Are you only using midi or are you using wav, MP3 or other? If not midi you must have the original music files, midi you need make a vst is assigned to each track..

The virtual project is recorded drums and guitar. If I export them as mp3 or a wav file, it comes out as 1 track with all tracks together and I can't mix them separately. I apologize but I am new to most of this. I haven't tried midi yet. What I have tried is saving the virtual project as is onto a flash drive and then transferring it over. If I'm understanding this properly, I also need to copy the original music files as well?

Again, Thanks

Yes, the tracks you see depend on the files you have imported.
