Too much Hassle

Ok. Can somebody please recommend software in which I can concentrate on making music instead of fighting the software?

I've been patient and tried and tried. I'm still getting out of memory faults when I choose a midi instrument but not when I record audio from my synth. Tried reinstalling MM again and got download failed and then installation failed. Got through all this crap and then got the same issues. VST plugin failed to load etc. I actually purchased additional material from Magix and now I am regretting it. How do I get a refund so I canm spend money on software that works for me?

I so understand you... I have asked for a refund in the past, and all they did is ask me to go through an extensive debugging process using a software of theirs (I felt like an employee testing their product if you ask me), which I did, but then they tols me they didn't get the results. I did the entire thing 5 or 6 times... Then someone asked me to upload the resulting files to their servers. Nothing resulted from all of it. I just gave up... Sorry I know I have no encouraging words. I tried encouraging people to submit their bugs, in order for them to fix them. The only feeling I get is that they are waiting for the one year of free support to end, so that after that we have to pay to get support...

I continue to use (and thoroughly enjoy) version 25.1.3.84 because of the above situation; this version seems acceptably stable from my perspective. I too have participated in your frustrations during this last year and I hope that the situation does comprehensively improve before too long. I might have an interest in a migration to Samplitude (which I also have use of), but my instruments will apparently(?) not carry over and this would therefore not be feasible or practical for me. Best regards, CEC
