To my friends on the Magix forum

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that my friend of 16 years died this morning at about 10:30 AM Eastern time.  She is the brownish colored dog in my avatar.

Here is a picture of her playing with one of her favorite toys.

I am of course devastated by this and I thank you for your indulgence.

This post may not be 100% appropriate for the forum, so it may well be deleted.  But I want you all to know that Gilley was an amazing little Cairn Terrier who had a real zest for life and now she has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

My sympathy and condolences go out to you on this loss. As a fellow friend of canines and privileged friend of a 14 year old Labrador, my heart too is heavy with this news.

Very sorry to hear about your loss of Gilley.

My friends' dog died last year and they too were devastated by his loss. I had a photo they'd given me some months earlier and I had it printed on a large canvas. Caused a few tears when I gave it to them but after a few days when the pain had lessened they placed it in a prominent position as a permanent reminder. I'm guessing you have a wealth of photos/videos so maybe you might think of making a DVD?

As for your post, I wouldn't worry about appropriateness!
