Why did you create the same post five times? Such behaviour can be viewed as spamming the forums and can lead to an immediate and permanent ban. The other four are now hidden

I have left this one post visible though I doubt that many users will be able to offer much assistance to you. I presume you are referring to the first release of ACID Pro, many years ago. The software and computer hardware have both developed massively since then.

Also, please remember these are user to user forums so if your post is aimed at Magix staff it is highly unlikely they will see it.

Hi

In addition to @emmrecs comment:

Assuming you are referring to the original Acid Pro by Sonic Foundry, it is too old, from around 1998, that it will not install, or run, on any current version of Windows 10 or 11, it may install on Windows 7 or 8 however, there is no guarantee that it will run correctly.

Older versions of Acid 6 (IIRC), and earlier, are not supported by Magix.

ACID Pro 1.0 will likely run on Windows 11 if it is a Win32 application.

If it is Win16, utilizes MS-DOS components in the background, or accesses hardware directly it will not run, however.

There is nothing about Windows 10 or 11 that fundamentally changes whether or not it would run, relative to Windows 7 or 8 ;-)

It depends completely on how the application was developed.

Not sure why anyone would want to run that, though...
