The input device MPK249 could not allocate memory

The system is low on memory.
The input device MPK249 could not allocate memory.

This is when trying to enable it as a MIDI device in the preferences menu.

My launchkey mini works fine. However, I do see this same input device memory allocation error with the launchkey mini if I've started up a second acid pro instance, or running a broken rewire version of acid 8 or 9 as a slave.

So the problem has nothing to do with memory.

Has anyone seen this before?

The MPK249 works great in fl studio and ableton. no issues.

Yep, rebooted the machine. Didn't fix it.

Tried acid pro 8 and 9. Uninstalled and reinstalled both.

I have not tried this setup on another computer.

If I can't get this sorted out, i'm done with acid pro. I love the features but... from the broken rewire in 8 and 9 which the finally fixed in 9 but I found out they broke it again in 10... Ugh, etc...

Sorry, just frustrated with what could be a good product, but they never seem to get it right.

@riverslq

Sorry no-one has replied but I suspect that is because no-one has the same setup as you so does not know the answer to your question.

Your only recourse may be to contact Magix Support via the Support button in the header of any forum page.

Hi there, I get the same warning regarding my Nord Stage 3. Can't allocate memory says the popup window.

My system is Windows 10, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 32Gb RAM on a Asus B350-Plus motherboard. Windows is not running out of memory at all! I must be a software issue. Ableton Live v.9 have no such issues.

Im also having issues with my akai set up as well. Im having issues with mpc studio working in Acid Pro. Ive tried MPC studio in other daws also, and it works. Ive posted and also contacted support, no one has responded. I went to the Akai website to look for more information. AKAI has information and list of supported DAWS, unfortunately acid pro isnt listed in any of their literature. Or at least I couldnt find any.

as much as I like acid pro, at this point IM just going to have to look at other daws. its unfortunate that they dont seem to care. if Magix wasnt going to support ACID products, why even get the rights to the software from sony.

sorry to gripe on your post.
