Switching from Audition CS6 advice needed

After numerous issues with my legacy CS6 apps corrupting project files (both Premiere Pro and Audition) I'm finally needing to find a new audio editing app.

My primary use of Audition has been their awesome noise reduction tool that has been my bread and butter for cleaning up hum and a/c noise from dual sync audio I record when shooting video interviews.

I still have Sound Forge 10 but find the interface confusing and the overly bright interface strains my eyes.

What options are there that compare to ease of use/same features for noise removal/sweetening audio in the latest Sound Forge 12? Or should I look at another app altogether (reaper)? I"m not a musician, I want to use the app specifically for working with audio files for video.

SF Pro 12 includes iZotope's RX Elements, as well as the SCS/Magix NR-2.0 noise reduction suite (also good), both of which are better than the Audition's NR.. at least with my limited experience with AA. SF Pro 12 also includes iZotope's Ozone Elements, which is a FX suite of plug-ins. SpectraLayers Pro also integrates nicely with SF, but the SF Pro 12 Suite costs more.
