Support & Upgrade

Does Magix have a customer support chat. I don't see that as an option on any of the pages I have browsed?

I had purchased Photostory Deluxe some time ago. Now have a new computer. Do I have to purchase again, or am I eligible for an upgrade and will that upgrade download contain the whole program?

Anyone? Advise is appreciated!!!

@P-Kincheloe

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

No, there is no chat support for Magix products, only this forum!

Which version of PS do you have? In your Magix account, once logged in, under My products you will find the installer and serial key for your existing software. You do not necessarily need to install that old version to your new computer but the serial key will allow you to benefit from the current Upgrade price. The new program will be the "full program".

I started Xara in 1995......used continuously since - today I paid up my yearly subs (which is next to useless anyway) and I paid got a code.....there is not a single place in Xara that allows you to enter the code that was sent in my email - it contains letters dashes and numbers!!!! So failing that, I downloaded a trial version and have that running...but still have no idea where to put the code. Years ago (When there was service and help which no longer exists), you could get an answer easily - now nothing...not even places to send emails...only the forum...so help folks - why is it so difficult to find a place to enter the very long code these sent me ?????

@Joseph-robinson First of all, there are two different publishers of Xara software. One version is sold by Xara and one version is sold by Magix. Now it depends on where you downloaded the trial version. From Magix.com?

Did you read the order confirmation mail? There should be a download link for your software. If you start it the first time there will be a big registration window, where you need to enter you serial number. You cannot even run the software without entering the serial number or starting a trial phase.
