Stop each picture

In Photostory 2014. Is it possible to stop automatic after each picture (when play time for each picture running out) in presentation mode, and then push some key on keyboard to start with the next picture? I will use it if I run the presentation in the photostory software, not in some finally output file.

Hi

. . . . Is it possible to stop automatic after each picture (when play time for each picture running out) in presentation mode, and then push some key on keyboard to start with the next picture . . . .

It is unfortunate that the terminology used in Photostory is 'Slideshow', which is usually associated with PowerPoint, the final output from Photstory is either a video file, or a DVD/BluRay disc*, none of which will do what you require.

* Using Chapters on a disc will only allow you to jump forwards/backwards to the next/previous chapter marker, however the playback does not stop at the end of each chapter, it continues to the end of the movie. This behaviour cannot be changed on Photostory.

@Mrten-Ohlsson

If you Export your project to a Slideshow (Photostory terminology) then No, you cannot stop/restart the show unless you burn the exported project to DVD/BD when you can then use the Play/Pause button of your DVD Player.

If you are simply viewing your project in Photostory, i.e., before creating any sort of Export file, then the normal Play/Stop controls in the software, e.g., the Spacebar will allow you to "pause" playback.

However, in neither of the situations described above can you guarantee that resumed playback will start with the next picture, unless you ensure you "pause" immediately before that next slide/picture is due to be viewed.
