DJ,

Are you using the File/Export As functions?  Assuming they are not ghosted out since it's a trial you're using that should work.

Let us know how you are attempting to "convert" and maybe the answer will be more apparent.

Have you tried to "export" the file to .mp3 or .wav?  .mmm files are used by music maker to create your production, they are not audio files that can be "converted".  Within music maker think of the .mmm file as a project file.  You cannot convert it to something else, only export it as a different file format.

I usually just hit File, Export to MP3, but it is completely grayed out and not an option. I really need these as MP3, but it won't let me choose any as an option. I have done at least 30 songs and never had an issue. How can I get this to work again?

@jessica-s

Please do not resurrect old topics, this one is over 3 yrs old and refers to a different version of Music Maker.

Please create a new topic and include the following:

  1. Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM,  hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?

  2. Windows version and is it up to date?  Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.

  3. Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .
  4. A screen shot of the timeline may help.

Also please read this post before replying and add any other information you think may be relevant, eg any messages that appear.
