STEREO vs JOINT STEREO in Sound Forge 17

Hi guys good morning !
How do I do / proceed so that sound forge (release 17), when saving a song in .mp3 format, records in "pure" STEREO, and not records in "joint stereo"? CD quality (16 bits, sample in 128 bits x 44.100 KHz)

Hi @JoaoBC, I did not notice those options were removed (duh).. but I do not use SF 16 or 17 due to the ongoing VST issues.

That said, you can restore the MP3 stereo options in the (hidden) Internal menu.
- Hold the 'Shift' key and choose "Options> Preferences>
- Open the "Internal" tab
- Find the "Activate legacy MP3 Plug-in" entry,
- Change 'FALSE' to 'TRUE' and restart SF.

This applies to Sound Forge versions 16 and 17, Pro and Audio Studio

Thank you. This gives a lot more options for saving mp3 files. No idea why they try to hide them.
