"Store Edition?" I have no idea what that is. Music Maker is free; you pay for additional features, presets, instruments and Soundpools.
What version do you actually have and what is included with it?
The current version is 28.0.2.47. See under Help, About.
Music Maker comes with Demo projects. Look for them on the startup screen:
Failing that, search on your computer for files with the extension .MMM and open one of them. I suggest if you open one of these, that you do a Save as and save with a different name so as not to lose the original. Then do whatever you want.
