Soundpools that are 80bpm are recognized in the graph as 160bpm

UnopenedParachute wrote on 5/25/2021, 1:52 PM

Is there any way to force the graph to recognize these samples for their correct BPM? It makes them incompatible with other packs. I am using the most up to date version of Music Maker and the packs were called Reggae and Oriental. The samples are listed in the organizer as 80bpm but when I drag them to the arranger they are 160bpm. Thanks for any help.

Hi

To set the tempo for a project after adding a loop to the timeline double click the indicated (yellow arrow) tempo window in the image below and set the tempo required.

Once this is done all loops added are adjusted to the project tempo, and can be checked by opening the Properties dialog for that object as shown in the red circled Tempo properties of the loop object - right click select More, Properties.

Thank you for your response, but reducing the project bpm from 160 to 80 has the effect of cutting the tempo for all the wrongly identified 80bpm samples I've already added in half. I'm looking for how to make MMM recognize these misidentified samples for what they are.

Hi

Apologies the image did not upload correctly in my previous post.

Did you try using the Pitch/tempo effect to adjust the individual audio objects that are too high - right click each object for the effects menu?

All of the samples in the pack are listed at the same bpm, 80. When I drag them into the editor, they are recognized as 160. I can't adjust every sample in the pack, I'd rather just try to get my money back for it, do they do that?

Hi

Do you have this program option turned on for automatically adjusting the beat of loops to the project setting.

Thanks for the help everybody, I returned them. I'll get something that's identified right the first time. 👍
