Soundpool disappear after I restart MM 16.

I have the soundpool 17 DVD. I copied the files to Basic_16 folder than use 'add style' in MM.  They show up but then are not there after I restart MM.  I have to re-add them.  I searched the DB here for answers but can't find anything.

Also, some genres such as Dubstep and Jazz don't show up.

Please help. Thanks.  :)

Hi,

Do you use Windows 7?

It is strange what you are facing. Please check these steps if you had followed while copying.

Open Music maker, insert DVD into the Rom it will ask you want to add to sound pool or copy choose Soundpool.

In Music Maker 16 the worst part is Resetting of soundpool in Music Maker 16 Premium it is easier.

On Key board click "Y" Key then click on General tab if needed look at right below you will see Use installed soundpool even after reset un check this. Click on Folders tab click on Reset it will show you a message after reading click on Continue. It will turn settings to default. Re start computer and Open Music Maker Insert your DVD 17 in to the rom and let it be copied in to soundpool on hard drive. Later you might need to add soundpool by Add button all you have to do is click on Basic_16 folder and later your new DVD 17 folder.

Note before you click it is better to remember what your folder settings are, make a note. or screen shot for reference if needed later.

If still need help send message in detail.

About soundpool I have already given tutorial in Tutorial section check that too.

Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry to know you still face problem, the reason I had asked if you use windows 7 is because I have notieced those who are using Windows 7 facing problem with Music Maker.

I will suggest you better contact Magix support explain them exact problem, they might help you.

Or if you are ready for one more try which so far had worked do this.

Please repeat the process as I had explained for resetting in last message. Add your basic folder as you do always AND copy your DVD 17 some where such as My Documents or better in My Music.

Note:

Once you copied DVD 17, all projects and settings will be saved to this folder path, therefore, next time if you delete or move it your project will not work.

Thank you

I solved the problem renamed the folders:       Jazz Vol.1 to Swing_2 Jazz Vol.1

                                                               Dubstep Vol.1 to Hardstyle_2 Dubstep Vol.1

                                                               Breakbeat Vol.1 to BigBeat_2 Breakbeat Vol.1

Try and You'll see that it works...
