I have downloaded the Main Stage Dance Soundpool and wondered if the audio preview is a demo to open in MM v.28

No, there are no ready-to-use demos when you download the soundpools. I think that this is done deliberately to prevent people from releasing slightly modified demo songs as their own creation.
