The DVD backup is not a feature of the software, when you ordered SF Audio Studio 17, you added in the purchase of a DVD disc backup of the software, you will receive this in the post. - see the box image below.

After installing Sound Forge, you could also, copy the (unpacked) installation files in 'Documents> MAGIX Downloads> Installation manager'. These files could be copied to an external card or drive, cloud drive or.. a DVD-R. Also make note of your activation serial code and the email address you used when initially activated, which could be different then your sign-in to the Magix forums.

Thank you, yes, saving the activation code for me is always a must, especially if the pc dies and I have to reload it on a new one.
