We have been working hard on SOUND FORGE Pro 16 and are proud to announce that we released a new patch. Here is what has been updated:
Scope:
- The second maintenance release will fix a couple of issues that got visible after the initial release of SOUND FORGE Pro 16 and add some features as well.
Features:
- Added filtering options to the Plug-In Manager and Organize FX Dialog
Improvements:
- Loudness Meter V2
- History drawing now feature polygon filling and sliding cursor line
- Hiding port buttons if there is loudness and no classical visualization
- Loudness ranges have been added to channel meters visualization context menu in renamed submenu 'Ranges'
- VST2 plugins can now process multichannel audio
- Elastique Pro time-stretching has been updated to latest version 3.3.11
- Docking system improvements
- Set minimal window-sizes for docked views and docking panels
- Improved resizing of views in both docked and floating state
- Prevent docking panels from disappearing by resizing
- Added and improved some localizations
- Added preference to disable the generation of log files for executed scripts
- Changed unit in Fade-In/-Out context menu dialog from milliseconds to seconds and updated default value
- Extended the scripting interface
- IScriptableApp: bool GetIsScriptLoggingEnabled()
- ISfGenericPreset: Desc
- VST3 Plugins are now found automatically in the default folder even if no VST3 plugins were installed during first startup of SF
Bugfixes:
- MP3s codec crashes no longer while mono export
- ARA fixes
- Fixed saving and loading of *.FRG projects containing ARA plugins
- Improved ARA plugin cleanup
- Fixed bugs when changing presets with ARA plugins in the FX Chain view
- Bugfixes for internal effects
- Fixed preset deletion
- Fixed loading of last preset
- Batch Converter and Export Dialog fixes for non-English versions
- Loading of internal DirectX effects
- Loading of audio formats
- Added new "Speaker Placement" combo box in the New File dialog for some languages
