@Rick-Dailey First of all, this is a user forum and we are all users like you. No Magix staff is active here.

Next, there was a user some days ago, who solved this problem by installing updates. I assume they were taking about Windows updates.

This is a new computer with up-to-date Window 11. Nothing is wrong with it. The only reason I posted here is because I am a new member with my first purchase and Magix REFUSES TO SUPPORT CUSTOMERS and tells them to post here. I have already discovered that Magix does not provide an address, a phone number, support, or anything for customers. This is terrible!

Check your Security-->Protection History for any blocking?

Some recent W11 updates may have changed the access to required directories.

What are you taking about? Click on the SUPPORT link at the top of this page, select Sound Forge Pro, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Contact Support and send an email.

This is not at all what I see when I go to the SUPPORT link at the top of this page. It tells me to ask a question HERE. There is NO MESSAGE to select "Sound Forge Pro." At the bottom of the page there is not "Contact Support" button.

Requesting a support ticket is a bit confusing @Rick-Dailey , these instructions may help

Magix does not offer phone support.. As @SP. stated, this is a user group. The moderators are not Magix employees either and cannot issue refunds and such.

Okay, now I understand what is happening. Microsoft 11 is refusing installation of any programs. There are numerous posts all over the internet that explain how to get around this, and I have been trying for hours now, but nothing works. I was told above that there is support by MAGIX but you say that only people here can help which seems to be true. I am going to cancel my credit card payment and disable my purchase of Sound Forge. Too bad that Microsoft is now refusing to install programs. As noted above, I have seen this all over the internet today and nothing that I have tried allows me to install MAGIX. Don't know what I am going to do now. Probably try go back to Windows 8 that works very well.
