Sound Forge Pro 16 (latest new version) - is it stable?

After upgrading from SFPro 14 to 15 only a few months back and experiencing many random crashes with it, mostly during playback or auditioning wavs in open file browser, I'm hesitant to upgrade (just yet). Any user experiences of SFPro 16 would be appreciated.
(my SFP15 crashes may be due to vu meter/vu2/phase scope being enabled, not 100% reproducible - but anyone else had issues?)

Hi @ste_c, the 'Open' window 'Auto play' feature in AS-16 works fine on my PCs.

If you are referring to Waves Audio plug-ins, they have a long history of twitchy behavior with Sound Forge and I do think anything has changed in that regard.

That said, you can download the 30-day trial version and try it out. The trial version is basically identical to the purchased version except some of the third-party plug-ins do not include serials to activate and SF will not work without a valid serial after the thirty-day trial period runs out.
