I have long wav files. I need to split them into separate tracks in one diretory. How can I do this automaticaly - not manually?. I have SFAS 13 and also the new one - SFAS 14.
What do you mean by "One Directory"? Does that mean on the same timeline, like for CD tracks? What about "automatically"? Do you mean by osmosis or a script of sorts? AS cannot do either, SF Pro supports scripting, though I am not sure a script exists to do exactly what you want but you could write one. Osmosis scripting may be available in SF Pro 2050.'Think it, and it happens".
In any case, I do not know about SF AS, but in SF Pro, there is an 'Event' mode, where the files can be split into segments (events) and moved around like in Vegas and CD Architect. Same goes for multiple files (as events) on the timeline.

I have a program by a Magix competitor which automatically makes a split any place there's silence in an audio file, then cuts up the file into individual tracks accordingly. It's wonderful. But there's no way in hell AS14 will do that for you.😄
Magix competitor - would you mind to give me more explanations about? Is it bought? Which link can I find it?

You wouldn't like the program. It's a DAW, so, in the vast majority of cases, it wouldn't be suitable for audio editing. It just happens to have that one very nice feature.
