When playing audio in Sound Forge 12 Suite, the program simply crashes (pop-up windows says Sound Forge has stopped working... send/don't send). No buttons are being pressed nor icons clicked when this happens; it is just playing audio. The format of the audio is simply .WAV
Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution?
I have not experienced or read of this issue with SF Pro 12, so it's likely something specific to your PC.
- Have you checked to confirm that other audio apps are not running.
- Try changing the Audio Device setting to 'Classic Wave Driver' or 'MS Sound Mapper' (Options> Preferences> Audio> Playback)
- Where did the file(s) originate from and can you post a media info report or the file itself ?
