sound cleaning lab - how to clean static only on specific sections of a video

alex_free wrote on 8/26/2011, 6:38 AM

using magix sound cleaning lab I cannot figure out how to clean static only on specific sections of a video; my video is made up of many cuts that each have a different static noise, so I cannot remove static from the video as a whole. How do I select a specific section and make the chosen filter apply only to that specific section, and not to the rest?

Thanks to all of you

Hi

Assuming you are editing in MEP: select the audio track of the the individual video objects, right click the audio, select Audio Cleaning.  Make any adjustments necessary and only click OK.  The effects will only be applied to the selected object.

For static noise I would use the Equalizer and adjust the frequency band levels to achieve best result.
