Sound after pressing stop during midi editor

mmq wrote on 10/29/2018, 8:32 PM

When using the midi editor, I will press play to see how it sounds, then stop. After I press stop, random sounds from midi instruments start and won't stop until I press stop again, but then sometimes they will start again. Sometimes I have to press stop a few times to get the sounds to stop happening. It's irritating and distracting when trying to edit a midi object to hear random unending sounds from other midi instruments. What is causing this to happen and how do I stop it? Thanks

I am having the same issue. It isn't any specific instrument, it's all of them. When the Midi editor is open, after pressing stop, random tracks will play and then sustain the note indefinitely until I close the editor. Any updates for that any time soon?

I have the same issue. It would be nice that they get this fixed. Annoying as hell...

Running the midi editor in a window and pressing save instead of stop seems to stop the sound for good. This may also be useful to save constantly since when the program crashes (as it often does), midi not saved is lost.

Hi

This was a known issue with MMM and has been reported to Magix.
