Song Length

Magix 2020 Premium. Hello, how do I shorten song length? I have a song that I would like to be 4:30 but the counter runs to 6:26 leaving almost 2 minutes of dead air. How can I shorten the time? Thanks

Hi,

Make sure that you have nothing on any tracks after 4:30. When you export, it will only export to the end of the actual material on the track. For playback, move the right end of the yellow bar to the end of your material, otherwise playback will continue until it gets to the end of the yellow range bar, and then loop back to the beginning of the yellow bar.
