@CubeAce Thanks 👍

@browj2

This image in the thumbnail is not the same as what is going on the timeline

Interesting, I wasn't looking too closely because that is the image i created by Export as png & dragged onto the timeline before starting to record. & as you see when i started a new project it still loaded the wrong image. 🤷‍♂️ I just tried it with jpg & it's the same outcome, this time correct thumbnail image but neither the thumbnail or the timeline updates, when i drag the thumbnail back on the timeline making two instances on the timeline the preview updates but not the thumbnail or timeline.

GIMP has either overwrite (Export...) or create a 'copy' (Export as...) which opens a window to rename & choose location, all the Save options are just like save the project in MMS.

I need to clean my PC & restart, GIMP normally works faster than in those clips, I'll have another go tomorrow..

@johnebaker Yeah sorry, I had this comment half created for a while & didn't se your comment until clicking Comment, I've had enough of this for now & will pick it back up in a new post 👍

@johnebaker

Hi john.

Sorry if my reply was off topic but earlier in the conversation @Not-Applicable had not realised the new MMS version was not the same program as the VMS version and there seemed to be some confusion by John CB as to whether or not N/A had actually had that specific ability in the VMS version. I was just trying to confirm that it was present as @Former user could not check for himself.

Ray.
