Hi

Mine is exactly the same - now totally unusable. Not pleased at all.

Windows 7, quadcore.

MAGIX, please fix this as soon as possible. Was just fine before this update and I want to use it - I guess I will have to re-install to roll back.

Update: --- Tried to do a re-install, without uninstalling and tried the REPAIR function. No dice, still as bad as ever. So will now uninstall the whole thing and start again.

Rob.

I have raised a support ticket. At the moment I have run the syscheck program and sent the details back. From looking at the detailed report (system, drivers, services, software on the system etc), I'm not sure that any of that will explain kjust why MMM 2016 is just plain slow compared to previous versions (slow enough to be unusable!!). Also, not sure why MAGIX want my full software inventory as well (64 bit and 32 bit). I guess from that they can see I'm more than a basic hobbyist - my software has cost me probably 5 times the cost of the PC (or more - depends if you look at retail price, or special discounts, which I try to avail myself of when the other half allows!!!).

Too many others with the same problem for it to be co-incidence. The main common item is MMM 2016!

I have raised a ticket with Magix.

I am using Live which is the same build as 2016 Premium and have patched to 22.0.3.63.

I find that the instruments load very slowly, about 3 times as long as in 2015.

Recording audio - I have to do Esc to stop recording as the stop button becomes disabled when recording audio; it works ok when recording midi.

I checked Normalize after recording in the recording Advanced settings - doesn't work; I have to Normalize manually. It didn't work in 2015 Premium either.

I'm using a mic connected to my external audio interface M-Audio M-track. The recording gain is almost at max and record setting in Windows for this is at 100%.

The playback marker usually doesn't move during audio recording, only during midi recording.

I had one session where the playback looping turned itself on when I pressed on Rec for audio, but I can't repeat it. It may be intermittent.

OS Win 7 64bit, i7 16GB, main drive with OS and Programs is an SSD

I have exactly the same problam. Installed it at the weekend and was immediately advised to apply the upgrade which I did. Can't scroll around the arrangement without it being far too sluggish. Pretty much unusable at the moment.

Have sent Magix support details of this problem tonight. As I installed the upgrade before I used it I've no idea if it would have been better without it but by the sounds of what you guys have been saying it probably would have been.

Running the same songs on MM 2015 Premium has no problems whatsoever.

Has anyone heard back from magix support regarding this ?

RobF - How did a complete uninstall and re-install without the update go for you ?

Cheers,

Neil.
