Shaking a clip

nirvanray wrote on 8/20/2012, 3:59 AM

Hello people,

Now I shot some clips using a tripod. But now as per the script (a thriller) I do want some parts of the clip a minor shaky look. The shaky look must be within the frame and not zoom in and out. I tried the Movement templates but they actually zoom and are too much shaky (Like the PAN option).

Can someone please guide me how to have this minor shaky look in my clips.

Regards.

Hey Anirban,

Is this what you are looking for?

If the link does not work, go to youtube and search on my screen name gandjcarr and you will see it there.

Great,

It is one fo the NewBluefx effects called "Motion Effects" you have a lot of control over how intense the effect is.  It can be from gentle shaking to a violent earthquake effece.

You can get a free trial at the NewBlue site but you need to get it in to your video pretty quickly (within a few days) because after a while, a watermark will appear on your film whenever you use it.

Good Luck My Friend

Thanks George for the idea of NewBluefx effects.

Well I have downloaded it as per your instructions, now after I install it in my lappy can I find it from MAGIX or I mean how do I use it. Sorry for the stupid question though.

Hi George,

Do you have the short term trial, or the very expensive full version?
