Having never used midi triggers previously, I've recently tested my Steinberg CC121 DAW transport controller for simple play/stop/start/end triggers ...which all work but unfortunately Record/Stop doesn't react at all.
I've also tried with a midi keyboard; all other commands respond to midi-learned note triggers, just not Record.
This may be a known bug as it's also reproducible here in SF Pro 12.1/13/14 & 15.
(possibly related to the Remote Record issue previously discussed in this forum ?)
