@Ward-Ron

Hi

If you have used Magix Soundpools in the music you have created, using either product, then you need the appropriate licences for all Soundpools used before you can sell or publicly broadcast for revenue the music you have created.

For more information see this article.

Magix Premium synthesizers and Independence synthesizers are ALL 100 % commercial Unlimited .
just be sure to write your own notes and play your own notes , and do NOT use any external sounds , nor external sound pools .

you then have 100 % exclusive distribution rights to your songs and jingles.

if you do the above , then the only copyright you would be concerned with is how do You copyright your Original Work .

using only the synthesizers is equivalent to buying a real piano , record your stuff with a mic . the piano company has No rights to what you made with the piano .

if you want to give free publicity to Magix , you could say : "Made with Magix's Music Maker" , but you don't have to .

There is One Exception , that ALL Sampler companies have : you can NOT play individual notes , with the intent to repackage and sell those individual Notes , for the purpose of making a derivative Sampler product .

Hi

. . . . the only copyright you would be concerned with is how do You copyright your Original Work . . . .

That depends entirely on your location - see this article.

@johnebaker Having trouble navigating the link (to Catooh) in the article to purchase the licenses as it doesn't come up when I search for them and the only page I can find about these licenses in Catooh, is the "help" pages for them.

@Ward-Ron

That's the help and price comparison page. I want the page where I can actually buy the license, not view it's features. And no, there is no link to buy them on that page, I checked

fan-boy wrote on 8/27/2018, 6:59 PM

the only "Next thing" to click on at catooh , was to consult with Magix link or email , to discuss what will be the best license to get . I have Never seen a purchase buy now button .

So in other words, you need to buy a product to get the license ?

In effect yes - the format of the files is different, ie better quality - once purchased download the Soundpool and install following the instructions.
