Screen Capture Not Working

craigjunk wrote on 11/25/2013, 8:50 AM

I've successfully used screen capture in the past but for some reason it won't work anymore.

I get a MAGIX Movie Edit Pro error:  "You have selected a framerate or resolution which is not supported by your device. Therefore, the values have been reset."

I click OK and it takes me to a screen that says, "No recording made.  Do you want to close the dialog now?"

I'm using the setting MXV: User defined...

MXV Export:
Video: 1920x1080; 25.00 Frames/s
Audio: 48000 Hz; Stereo

I've tried different resolutions, frame rates, turning audio off and different recording quality settings.

My screen resolution is 1920 x 1024 according to Windows 7.

Version is 11.0.1.4 (UDC2)

Anyone have any suggestions to get this working?

Thanks!

Hi

Looking at those error messages I think the settings referred to are not in MEP but in your sound card settings ie for a Realtek HDA

This setting above is for the Stereo Mixer, however it is the same for the other audio sources.

Try changing the setting to 48000 Hz (DVD quality) or the 96000 Hz (Studio quality).
