Scanning for VST plugins at startup

Hello Sony/SF, please include an option for not scanning vst plugins in sf audio studio 14. The startup is always a neverending story, sometimes it takes half an hour. In all better programs such a possibility exists. Urgent! I am a user of SF for maybe 20 years, this is my 3-rd version of SF, so far absolutely the worst. It seems like an unfinished product. I have disabled all vst folders except for waves and ozone, not any better. Please help. I use previous version of sound forge in the meantime (AS 10).

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users forum @Branislav-Stancak.

FYI, Sony Creative Software sold Sound Forge Vegas, Acid, ect. to MAGIX Software GmbH in 2016. This is the MAGIX Sound Forge users forum and no one here is a MAGIX employee.

Both the Waves and the iZotope plug-ins are a little slow, however there may be another plug-in that is hanging up the VST grovel process. It takes detective work to I.D. the offender and re-move it or relocate it to a non-VST search folder.
In SF Pro the VST grovel process can be disabled in the 'internal' menu, which is normally hidden.. for good reason. It is risky to delve into like the OS registry. I am not familiar with Audio Studio so I do know if the setting is accessible. FWIW, In SF Pro-12, 13, 14, my Waves and iZ plugs do not delay launching SF significantly longer than in Pro 10
