Samplitude X4 crashes with some audio recording tracks

Hello,

I have the Samplitude Pro X4, Intel Core i-7 8700K 3.7Ghz, 32GB RAM,
recording with RME Fireface 400, Focusrite ISA One Mic Preamp and MXL Revelation Tube Mic.

I have noticed that some tracks I record (mic-audio) cause Samplitude to crash and shut down. It happens either when I play them and mostly when I try to save the project (CTRL+E) it gets to 99% and program shuts down (Sometimes it shows the ntdll.dll error message before shutting down). However - when I put those track on "Mute" and save the project with the rest of the tracks the problem is solved. Why does some tracks are being recorded damaged and cause the program to shut down or make some noises?

All interface drivers + ASIO drivers are up to date

I even changed "Multi CPU Support" from 3 to 11 and it hasn't changed anything.

Buffer settings are at 1024 (Samplitude) and 256 (Interface). I tried raising them on and off and didn't see a change.

What is the best setting for my system?

Do you recommend a better graphics card or a better audio interface or more RAM? (I usually record 20-30 tracks with approx 4 plugins on each)

Thank you very much,

Oded

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

Since your question refers to Samplitude Pro I would suggest you repost your question to the dedicated Samplitude forum here.
